ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

The Social Justice Now Film Festival (SJNFF) is a global showcase of content that confronts the social and economic issues facing the United States’ black and brown communities. Through a curated film program, community conversations and impact events, we aim to rally a coalition committed to amplifying the voices of the marginalized and creating real and lasting social and political change.

OUR MISSION

Through content and conversation, the Social Justice Now Film Festival will build a coalition of the marginalized in order to elevate our voices and create change.

OUR CAUSES

Translate art into change. We will inform our attendees on the most pressing issues facing black and brown Americans. We will use this knowledge to inform our vote in major and minor 2020 elections.

SUBMISSIONS NOW CLOSED

Selected films – aligned with the themes of social justice and explore issues of racial injustice, implicit bias, Black identity and human rights – will be notified by no later than October 9, 2020.
